Wisconsin WR Visits Fayetteville

Lance Kendricks is one of the top ranked wide receivers in the midwest and the big time target from Wisconsin chose to visit the University of Arkansas this past weekend. He came away thoroughly impressed with the Razorbacks and he talks to Scout.com about the trip.

"Yeah I liked it. I especially liked the facilities and stuff. I like the academic program too. I want to major in architecture and I got to tour those buildings while some students were in class, which was pretty neat. I like the people there and the football program. It was more than I expected it to be," Lance Kendricks said.

Kendricks spent some time with a couple of the current Razorbacks.

"Chris Baker was my host and we went out to some parties. I had some catfish, steak and some real good pizza. I hung out with Marcus Monk too. He was telling me how he likes things and that I should come there as well. I also spent a little time with Michael Grant as well."

Coach Nutt and his star quarterback recruit put the full court press on Kendricks.

"Coach Nutt told me I was needed there and that they have a big time QB coming in. I went and saw Mitch myself on Friday at his game and oh man was he awesome! I saw him at the Arkansas game the next day and we hung out there. He said he wanted me to come to Arkansas and we really hit it off."

Lance is not quite ready to narrow his list.

"I'm looking at Arkansas, Wisconsin, Purdue, Indiana, Minnesota, Iowa, LSU, UCLA and now Michigan is calling me as well. I don't have a leader."

The Wisconsin star has already taken officials to LSU and Arkansas. How will he spend his last three?

"I set a date for a Wisconsin visit but I can't go on that date because my parents are going out of town. I'm going to reschedule with them and more than likely I'll visit UCLA and probably Michigan if they are really interested."
