Huge Linemen Commits to Hogs

Arkansas gained its second commitment of the spring. The Hogs are seeking big linemen and this one fills that need.

Kharylake Martin from Dayton, Texas issued a verbal pledge to Arkansas assistant coach David Lee on Thursday. Martin is 6-5, 340 pounds and won't turn 17 until this June. He is considered to be one of the top players in the Lonestar State. Martin is the first high school junior to pledge the Hogs.

Martin joins Independence, Kan., Community College running back Shermar Bracey as Razorback commitments. Bracey is 6-2, 212, and runs a 4.38 in the 40-yard dash. Bracey should graduate at mid-term and join the Hogs in the spring of 2003.
