Recruiting 2003: RB Corey White

Corey White had to share the ball with 2 seniors last year, but this year the 6-1 and 220 pounds running back will be the man in the backfield. "I'm looking forward to getting as many carries as possible," said White. "I want to go for about 230 yards every game this year," he said only half joking. "Our first game is against Briarwood Christian, so I'm looking forward to going head to head with Tim Castille."

White, who has already made a 22 on his ACT, has been busy at summer camps getting ready for the season. "I've been to Southern Miss, Alabama, Auburn, and UAB. I'm being recruited to play running back. My favorite schools right now are Arkansas, LSU, Auburn, and NC State. I also really like FSU and Texas, but I know they have so many players close to them that they might not come all the way to Alabama to recruit me. But I've always liked those 2 teams as well."

White currently has offers from Southern Miss and UAB, and he will add more early in the season as the feature back for the first time.
