Fan Appreciation Day Set for August 24th

The annual Razorback Football Fan Appreciation Day has been set for Saturday, August 24, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m., on the lawn of the Tyson Poultry Science Center, just north of the Broyles Athletic Center. A pep rally will take place at 3:45 p.m., and following Fan Appreciation Day, the Razorback will scrimmage at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium starting at 6 p.m.

The Tyson Poultry Science Center is located on Maple Street across from the Broyles Athletic Center. Parking for the event is available in the Broyles Athletic Center parking lot, adjacent to the stadium, and in the lot on the corner of Garland Avenue and Maple Street.

Free Razorback posters and bumper stickers courtesy of Taco Bell, Wendy's, KATV Channel 7 Little Rock and KHOG/KHBS Channels 40/29 will be available to the first 2,000 fans. Complimentary refreshments will also be served by Coca-Cola.

Razorback players and coaches will be available for autographs throughout the event. Fans are reminded to bring their cameras to have pictures made with their favorite Hog players. The Razorback cheerleaders, pom squad and mascots will also be in attendance.

A football scrimmage will follow at 6 p.m., in Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. Fans must enter through gates 15 and 16, which will open at 5 p.m. Seating will be available on the east side of the stadium and admission is free.
