Although a report surfaced Sunday afternoon that he might be torn between Arkansas and Oklahoma State, Texas prep star Bret Harris said Sunday night he is for sure where he will be playing his college football.
That would be for the University of Arkansas, the school that Irving MacArthur safety Harris (6-0, 190, 4.4) committed to back in November.
"I just went there this weekend to have something to compare it to," Harris said. "It was nice, but I am firmly committed to Arkansas."
His step dad George White was a bit stronger in his stance.
"We have told (Arkansas head) Coach Houston Nutt and (assistant) Coach James Shibest and Coach Chris Vaughn know that we are a Razorback," Mr. White said. "Tell everybody over there that is not going to change. We are solidly Razorbacks."
