Arkansas Fires Director of Football Operation

FAYETTEVILLE -- Rob Taylor has been fired as Arkansas' director of football operations after holding the position for only one year.

Taylor was promoted to director of football operations after Louis Campbell, who held the position for eight years, took over as Arkansas' secondary coach prior to this past season.

Taylor came to Arkansas in 2003 as an academic counselor for football. In his position as director of football operations, Taylor's responsibilities included coordinating recruiting visits and serving as a liaison to high school coaches throughout the state.

It's uncertain who will replace Taylor, or whether his responsibilities will simply be reassigned.
