Zebrie Sanders Talks Razorbacks

The Arkansas Razorbacks are one of the four latest teams to offer SW Ohio standout Zebrie Sanders, but unlike the other three new offers, the Hogs have crept in to his top seven. Could a connection to the state have him calling the Hogs by the time it is all said and done?

Zebrie Sanders, a 6-foot-7, 280-pound offensive lineman from Northmont High in Clayton, Ohio has added four new offers to his count that has now reached an astounding number.

"Arkansas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Nebraska have all offered," Sanders said. "That is three more Big 12 schools and another SEC school."

Sanders recently claimed a top three of Michigan, Florida, and Georgia. In addition, he also holds offers from Miami (FL), Florida State, Clemson, South Carolina, Michigan State, Cincinnati, Louisville, Stanford, and is receiving strong interest from Ohio State, USC, and Notre dame.

The Arkansas Razorbacks offer made the big impact with the "Buckeye State" giant, and they have now supplanted South Carolina in his current top seven.

"My mom works for Wal-Mart in Bentonville," Sanders explained of his connection to the State. "She moved down there, but she still tries to come up on the weekends and see me as much as possible."

"I came down to see here during spring break, and I made a trip up to Fayetteville. That is how I have gotten to know Arkansas and how they found out about me.

"I was real excited when they offered. They are now definitely one of the schools that I like, and I would consider them as one of my top schools."

"I just like the way their campus lays out," Sanders continued. "I really enjoyed how it lays out in the hills, and has that college feel. That is what I am looking for. I am glad that I took the visit… Otherwise they may not have known about me, and I may not have known about them."

Zebrie Sanders earned All-Conference and All-Ohio honors after a productive junior season on the field; Sanders benches 305 pounds, squats 475 and has a 26-inch vertical jump.
