Jones Excited to be a Razorback

The Arkansas Razorbacks early recruiting efforts continue to stay on a hot streak as they added yet another talented in-state star today when Warren athlete Basmine Jones made his commitment. Could the rest of the "Warren Trio" be right behind?

It was easy to tell that Basmine Jones, a 6-foot-0, 195-pound athlete from Warren, Ark., was still excited about his commitment to the Razorbacks.

"I am just a real big Hogs fan," Jones said about the reasoning behind his decision. "Everyone in my family is a Hogs fan, and my brother attends there right now."

"That is not the only thing about them. They have outstanding football facilities, and the coaches there know what it takes to be successful."

Jones could play a few different positions on teh next level, but claims that Arkansas is recruiting him to play cornerback or wide receiver on the next level.

"Both are pretty good positions for me," Jones explained. "I may feel a little more comfortable on defense right now, but I know I can play wide receiver. My speed and strength are two of my biggest assets, and I know how to use my hands."

Jones is set on bringing his two teammates (Jarius Wright and Greg Childs) in to the fold with him at Arkansas.

"Yes sir, no that I am committed I am just a recruiter for Arkansas," Jones informed. "I am going to be working on Jarius and Greg Childs. How it is looking right now we will all be Hogs. That is how it is looking right now."

Jones and his teammates will all be performing at the senior advanced session of Razorback Camp on July 21st.
