Thomas Tours Arkansas

Arkansas hosts one of the nation's top running backs on Saturday when Texas prep star Devin Thomas looks things over.

Texas prep running back Devin Thomas toured the Univerity of Arkansas faclities, met Razorback Heisman Trophy frontrunner Darren McFadden and left very impressed with it all.

Thomas(6-0, 200, 4.47), who averaged 207 yards per game last season for San Antonio Madison while rushing for just under 1,900 yards in nine games, was just in for an unofficial visit and not taking part in the camp.

"I really like it a lot here, the facilities and everything else," Thomas said. "The coaches are very nice and enthusiastic and very welcoming. It is a great atmosphere."

Thomas is also looking at Texas A&M and Missouri, Stanford, Kansas, Northwestern and South Florida.

"I am trying to take it all in and get a top five and then take some visits," Thomas said. "Arkansas will definitely be in my top 5."

"I am a real good power runner," Thomas continued. "I think my cutting ability and I think maybe my best thing is my breakaway speed. Once I get out there in the open nobody can catch me."
