Burton, who appeared in Fayetteville District Court, was also fined $80 for a careless driving charge and ordered to pay a $5 fee to Washington County.
Burton, 19, pleaded guilty during a July 28 arraignment to misdemeanor charges of driving while intoxicated and careless driving.
The sophomore was arrested June 29 after University of Arkansas police pulled him over for crossing the center line on Maple Street. He was given a breathalyzer test and blew a 0.13, above the Arkansas legal limit of .08.
Burton is among six Arkansas players who have been arrested since March and one of seven who have gotten into trouble with the law over the past five months.
Arkansas coach Bobby Petrino announced last week that Burton and wide receiver Marques Wade would each be suspended for the first two games of the season because of their separate arrests this summer on DWI charges this summer.
Wade is scheduled to appear in Fayetteville District Court on Aug. 18.
Meanwhile, backup linebacker Wendel Davis pleaded not guilty during his arraignment on Monday to a felony charge of first-degree criminal mischief. His trial is set for Oct. 3.
Davis was arrested July 1 after he caused an estimated $3,000 worth of damage to a car during a bizarre traffic incident.
Davis told police that the driver of the car had threatened to beat him up for kissing the man's girlfriend a few days earlier. They got into a fight not long before the traffic altercation.
Petrino said last week that he'll let the judicial system play out before deciding whether to suspend Davis.
