Arkansas senior Scott Lyons also extended his own hitting streak to 11 games with a single to right field in the first inning.
Arkansas leadoff hitters Chase Leavitt and Lyons have continued to be a powerful duo for the Razorbacks this season, and nothing was different against Missouri State.
Leavitt and Lyons combined for six of Arkansas' 17 hits and for five runs batted in, helping give the Razorbacks their 17th victory this season.
"Scott is a great two-hole hitter," Arkansas coach Dave Van Horn said. "He's older, he knows how to bat, he can bunt, hit-and-run. I mean he's going to make contact most of the time when you need him to make contact and drive in a run.
"We had the leadoff man on base all night, we had the option to hit-and-run or steal, or whatever we needed to do."
This season, Leavitt is batting .429 and Lyons is batting .333, and they have combined for 30 RBIs.
Van Horn said Wednesday night he wasn't sure how the weather was going to affect this weekend's series with Mississippi State.
Recent weather forecasts have predicted a 60 percent chance of rain Friday night and a 30 percent chance of rain and snow on Saturday.
"I just got word on the weather that we could have rain on Friday," Van Horn said. "I just told our team to not worry about the weather, if we play all three, then that's great. We can't do anything about it, we'll just see what happens."
