You move from one high school to another, earn all-state honors in one sport, lead your team to an undefeated season in another, watch your older brother star in the Southeastern Conference, sign a Division-I letter of intent and graduate high school.
Welcome to Cassie Clarke's world.
The Fayetteville High two-sport star and younger sister of Arkansas basketball standout Rotnei certainly had a year to remember.
Clarke earned all-state honors in leading Fayetteville to the state volleyball quarterfinals and averaged a team-high 14.7 points and shot 46.3 percent from 3-point range in helping the Lady Bulldogs to a 32-0 record, 7A state championship and top 10 national ranking.
After signing a letter of intent to play volleyball for Arkansas in the fall, Clarke caps her year with an appearance tonight in the Arkansas High School Coaches Association All-Star Game at Barnhill Arena.
She sat down with Hawgs Illustrated to talk about her transfer, close relationship with Rotnei and the future of Arkansas volleyball.
