FAYETTEVILLE - Arkansas' first Southeastern Conference game of 2009 will be aired in primetime.
The school announced Wednesday either ESPN or ESPN2 would carry Arkansas' Sept. 19 match-up with Georgia at Reynolds Razorback Stadium, with kick-off set for 6:45 p.m.
It's the first Arkansas game slated for TV this coming season, but with the SEC's new contract with ESPN beginning in the fall, all head-to-head conference match-ups will be televised on some outlet.
Arkansas and Georgia have met seven times since the Hogs joined the SEC in 1992. The Razorbacks are just 1-6 in those games with the Bulldogs taking the last five contests.
Georgia is 3-0 over that span in games played in Fayetteville, including a 20-14 win in its last trip to Arkansas in 2004.
The match-up will be Arkansas' second game of the 2009 season and first on-campus. The Razorbacks begin the year with a Sept. 5 contest with Missouri State in Little Rock followed by an off-week.
