Arkansas picked up a verbal commitment from its biggest in-state target earlier this month in Springdale Har-Ber offensive tackle Brey Cook (6-7, 308).
Cook is one of three offensive linemen from the 7A-West conference in Northwest Arkansas to commit to the Razorbacks in the class of 2011, joining Springdale High's Mitch Smothers and Bentonville's Marcus Danenhauer. Fayetteville quarterback Brandon Allen and tight end Demetrius Dean are other conference stars to pledge to the Razorbacks prior to their senior seasons.
Both Cook and Smothers were on-hand last weekend when Arkansas hosted more than 300 top recruits for a one-day camp. Cook took time to talk with Hawgs Illustrated in his first interview since committing to the Razorbacks. The video is below.
