Interview: Zac Maodus

Add the name Zac Maodus to the strong recruiting class of Black Knights offensive linemen. We recently caught up with Zac, and this is what he had to share with us.

ArmySports.com: Tell me a little of what you are feeling about the upcoming football season. What do you expect? Anticipations?
Zac Maodus: Everybody I talk to says they are expecting a big turnaround this season. A couple of guys that I spoke to are looking to win the first couple of games. Everyone has a positive outlook this year and failure is not an option.

ArmySports.com: What are you doing to prepare yourself physically for the upcoming season?
Zac Maodus: I have been in the weight room everyday and running as well. Working as hard as I ever have.

ArmySports.com: What is your current weight and what do you plan to come in at?
Zac Maodus: I'm at 290 now, but want to lose a little weight before I report to the school.

ArmySports.com: Do you have a nickname?
Zac Maodus: A lot of the guys on my team call me "Otis", which comes from my last name.

ArmySports.com: What's your favorite TV show?
Zac Maodus: That would be "Scrubs". I think the show is pretty funny.

ArmySports.com: If you could go on a date with any celebrity who would it be?
Zac Maodus: I would have Melissa Malano

ArmySports.com: Who has been the biggest influence on your life?
Zac Maodus: Not any one person per say, the atmosphere of my school drove me to do very well.

ArmySports.com: When you aren't participating in sports, what do you do to relax?
Zac Maodus: Hang out with my friends.
