ArmySports.com: What was your official visit like?
Sean Navin: Actually I never took an official visit during the season. I went up during the summer between my junior & senior years. I spent the day with my recruiting coach, Junior Smith. My parents and I drove up there. I did a series of junior day visits in the Northeast and West Point was my first stop. I visited Brown, Holy Cross, Leigh and a few others.

ArmySports.com: When did you officially commit to Army?
Sean Navin: I gave my verbal commitment in late October.

ArmySports.com: Have you followed the recruiting of other players to Army via the Internet?
Sean Navin: Yes, I have been looking on the ArmySports.com site and now that I think about it, I'm the only guy from
Virginia. I am looking forward to meeting the other players this summer.

ArmySports.com: What were your goals coming into your senior of high school football?
Sean Navin: Going for the state title.

ArmySports.com: If you could have dinner with any three historical figures, who would they be?
Sean Navin: General Norman Schwarzkopf, the first President Bush & George Washington.

ArmySports.com: If I were to open up your CD player, what CD would be in there?
Sean Navin: "Fifty-Cent"

ArmySports.com: What wide receiver in college or the pros do you emulate?
Sean Navin: "I played more slot n high school. Actually I had more rushing yards than receiving. I would say I like
Kevin Jones (RB) of Virginia Tech. I like how he came in as a freshman, even with Lee Suggs there and did well. I like how he carries himself on the field.

ArmySports.com: What is your actual size and speed in the 40?
Sean Navin: "5'11" 188 right now. I hope to get up a little more before I report…. and a 4.49 40."

ArmySports.com: What are your favorite things to do away from football?
Sean Navin: I spent my freshman & sophomore year in
Hawaii and really enjoyed surfing. However, I can't really do that in Virginia. I play "NCAA football with my friends. I typically use Army.

ArmySports.com: Come on Sean, you are just saying that.
Sean Navin: No really I do, but I also use
Miami as well {laughing}

ArmySports.com: What would you like to tell the Army fans relative to this upcoming season?
Sean Navin: It's going to be a good year. I hope that my fellow freshmen and I can contribute to Army winning once again. I'm not too concerned with what has happened the last couple of years. I know the team is young, but I have confidence that we will be winning again soon.

ArmySports.com: Congratulations on your decision to attend West Point and join the Black Knights of Army. Also don't forget, Go Army, Beat Navy!
Sean Navin: I appreciate that and thank you and absolutely, Go Army, Beat Navy.

Sean Navin (#3) has outstanding hands as a receiver, running ability from his slot position, and is not afraid to mix it up with linebackers when called upon to block.
