Q/A with Stacey Bedell

William Floyd high school (Mastic Beach, NY) RB/CB Stacey Bedell is being recruited as an athlete by Army. ArmySports.com: How often do you hear from Army?
Stacey Bedell: I haven't heard from Army recently but I am supposed to be going on a visit.

AS: What are some of the things you like about Army?
SB: I like the great academics, great coaching staff, opportunities after I graduate and their football team.

AS: What do you feel makes you a great player?
SB: My speed, vision and my ability to make a player miss makes me a great player.

AS: What position are you being recruited to play at Army?
SB: They told me as an athlete.

AS: What were some of your stats/awards/recognition from your junior season?
SB: For my junior season I had 208 carries for 1,658 yards and 18 touchdowns with 12 receptions for 177 yards and 2 touchdowns. For defense I had a total of 105 tackles with 2 interceptions and 2 touchdowns. I was All-Division, All-County, all-Long Island, All-State, All-Metro 2nd team. I got team MVP and MVP for the Suffolk County Championship and Long Island for offense and defense.

AS: What are your favorite schools right now? Which have offered you.
SB: I have offers from Stony Brook, Fordham, Army and Temple who said they're going to make it official after the camp circuit.
