Army Players of the Week

The Army Black Knights fell to San Diego State, 23-20, on Saturday. Each week honors an offensive, defensive, and unsung hero of the game. Look inside to see who gets the honors this week

OFFENSE: Trent Steelman

Steelman, a junior quarterback from Bowling Green, Ky., rushed for 157 yards and three touchdown on 21 carries before being injured late in the fourth quarter. He also completed 2-of-4 passes for 43 yards.

DEFENSE: Hayden Pierce

Pierce, a freshman safety from Yorba Linda, Calif., had four tackles during the game. His first half tackle of Aztec star Ronnie Hillman resulted in a 4-yard loss and forced San Diego State to punt.

UNSUNG HERO AWARD: Anthony Stephens

Stephens, a sophomore wide receiver from Greenville, S.C., made his first career start and made a key 24-yard catch in the second quarter that converted on a third down situation. Top Stories
