Dixon, a freshman slotback from Bremerton, Wash., finished the game with 92 rushing yards. He had a 57-yard run in the third quarter that set the Black Knights up for their second touchdown of the game.
DEFENSE: Geoffrey Bacon
Bacon, a freshman linebacker from Milwaukee, Wis., led the Black Knights in tackles with 13 including 1/2 for losses. He broke up one pass and also intercepted a pass which he returned 70 yards for an Army touchdown.
UNSUNG HERO AWARD: Steven Erzinger
Erzinger, a senior linebacker from Houston, Texas, finished the game with nine tackles and two quarterback hurrys, one of which was a key in forcing the interception that was returned by Bacon for a score.
