Cadets offer Texas lineman

Elris Anyaibe, an athletic, two-way starter from DeSoto, Texas has been offered by the Army staff.

Elris Anyaibe is a 6-3, 275-pound C/DT who can rip off a 4.8 forty. Though a relative unknown at this point in terms of scholarship offers, kid can play.

"At this point, Army is the only school to offer me," Anyaibe told TheInsiders.com.

But the kid has some schools who are interested in him and have been by the school to grab a look.

"The schools recruiting me the hardest right now are Army, Arkansas, Georgia Tech, Kansas State, Colorado State, Syracuse, SMU and Maryland," said the Texas bluechipper.

Weightroom numbers?

"I can bench 300 and squat 515," the Desoto two-way lineman said.

Grades are fine as the kid has a 3.6 GPA and scored a 950 on his SAT.

Without making any summer camps, the kid continues to fly under the radar, but expect things to pick up in the near future.
