PIVOT POINTS: HAWAII, NAVY
-- Army’s offense gets a total of two first downs on its first three drives. Hawaii scores touchdowns on its first two possessions for a 14-0 lead.
-- Later, Army’s offense scores a touchdown to trim Hawaii’s lead to 14-7, but the Warriors score a touchdown on their next possession to re-establish a 14-point lead, 21-7.
-- Army’s offense goes three-and-out on its next two possessions. Hawaii tacks on another touchdown for a 28-7 halftime lead.
-- At the start of the second half, Army’s defense gets a turnover and the offense scores a touchdown on its first possession. Down 28-14, Army tries and recovers an onside kick. The Black Knights promptly score a touchdown to trim their deficit to 28-21.
– Army’s defense forces a Hawaii punt on its next series.
– Army’s offense scores a touchdown, converting a third and 10 in the process. The Black Knights tie the game at 28.
– Hawaii scores a touchdown on its next possession to retake the lead at 35-28.
– Army’s offense goes three-and-out.
-- Hawaii not only scores a touchdown on its next possession; the Warriors don’t even face a third down. They take a 42-28 lead late in the third quarter.
– Army scores a touchdown on its next possession to stay in the game. 42-35, Hawaii.
– Hawaii scores a touchdown on its next possession. The Warriors faced only one third down, a third and goal at the 6. They naturally converted it to take a 49-35 lead.
– Army scores a late touchdown (2:29 left in the game) but fails to recover an onside kick, which needed to be attempted given the Black Knights’ lack of timeouts. Hawaii runs out the clock and wins, 49-42.
-- Late in the first quarter, Army fumbles at the Navy 38.
-- Army allows a field goal, but it feels like a victory: The Black Knights get a stop after Navy attained a first and goal at the Army 4.
-- Army tries to build momentum after its defensive stand, going for it on fourth and three at the Navy 33. The Black Knights fail to get the first down... not for the last time in this game on a fourth down with under four yards to go.
-- Army commits a personal foul on third and six, giving Navy a first down. Navy then produces a 39-yard touchdown run for a 10-0 lead.
-- Navy intercepts Army on the Black Knights’ next possession, but Army’s defense responds by stopping Navy at midfield.

-- Navy delivers a 47-yard touchdown run on the next possession for a 17-0 lead.
-- Early in the second half, Army’s defense stops Navy on a fourth and three for the Midshipmen at the Army 29. Army then scores a touchdown on its next possession. 17-7, Navy.
-- On Navy’s next possession, Army makes another red-zone stop to stay in the game. 20-7, Navy.
-- Army commits a false start in a third-and-one situation, bringing about a third and six that becomes a fourth and three. Navy stops Army on that subsequent fourth and three.
-- Army's defense gets a three-and-out to keep the Black Knights in the hunt, but the offense then goes three-and-out to put Army on the ropes. Time and opportunities run short for the Black Knights.
-- Navy’s offense scores a touchdown on its next possession, converting a third and seven along the way. The Midshipmen take a commanding 28-7 lead early in the fourth quarter.
