Q&A with safety Alex Rowe

Alex Rowe, a highly regarded defensive back prospect out of Greater Atlanta Christian School, was kind enough to answer questions from ArmySports.com. Rowe, who has an offer from Army, had two interceptions and five pass breakups as a junior.

ArmySports.com: What positions do you play?
Alex Rowe: Both Safety and Corner.

AS: What's your height and weight?
AR: 5'11, 184.

AS: What's your forty speed?
AR: 4.53 Laser

AS: What makes you a great player?
AR: I play fast and very physical.

AS: Describe one game changing play that you made last season?
AR: The TFL I had against Eagles Landing to give our team momentum for a comeback win.

AS: What were some of your stats last season?
AR: 57 Solo Tackles 2 ints 5 pass break ups.

AS: Do you play any other sports?
AR: I jump in Track.

AS: Can you tell us a little about how you came into contact with Army?
AR: Well I had no idea they were recruiting me until they came to school to see me. After we exchanged information we've kept in touch ever since.

AS: What are some of the things that you like about Army?
AR: Academics and the Environment. It's a place where I can become a better player, man, and student.

AS: What positions are Army recruiting you for?
AR: Safety

AS: What other schools are recruiting you?
AR: Georgia State, Georgia Southern, Miami Ohio, Louisiana Lafayette, Charlotte, Navy.

AS: What school is recruiting you the hardest?
AR: Army

AS: Are there any other schools that you think might be close to offering you?
AR: Charlotte

AS: What schools does you plan on visiting?
AR: Army, Miami Ohio, Georgia State.

AS: Where will you be camping this summer?
AR: Not sure yet.

AS: When do you think you'll make a decision?
AR: End of the season.
