Army Black Knights Commit Spotlight: ATH Christian Saulsberry

National Signing Day is rapidly approaching for the Army Black Knights. Between now and signing day ArmySports.com will take a look at some of the top commits for Army football. Today we'll check at wide receiver Christian Saulsberry from Northpoint Christian in Mississippi.

Christian Saulsberry possesses insane speed that makes him nearly impossible to take down in the open field.  It's easily recognized while watching his film that he has an uncanny ability to switch directions while make defenders look foolish.  With phenomenal acceleration at his disposal, Saulsberry has a complete set of tools that will be fun to watch for Army fans for years to come.

As a senior, he was recognized by the Tennessee Sports Writers Association as a first-team all-state athlete.  He helped lead Northpoint Christian to the state championship game after winning 13 consecutive games.  Saulsberry racked up 1390 rushing yards with 16 touchdowns and caught 22 receptions for 315 yards while adding three scores.  Coaches did what they could to get the ball into his hands with 872 return yards between kickoffs and punts, six of those he returned for touchdowns.  He contributed significantly on defense with 33 tackles and five interceptions, two of which were returned for scores.

He appears to read his blocks well and has excellent vision in traffic.  With his blazing speed, the Mississippi athlete is going to be a solid contributor for the Black Knights.  We may just see him in more places than one on the field.
