Army pursuing Hawaii DL Nakoa Pauole

Jeff Monken and his staff are rapidly upgrading Army West Point's talent level. One talented player that has offered is defensive lineman Nakoa Pauole who plays for Kamehameha high school in Honolulu.

Nakoa Pauole, who has offered by Army on Friday, May 7, was a beast on the field during his junior season at Kamehameha finishing with 9 1/2 sacks and 21 tackles for losses.  Pauole would be a great addition to Army's ever improving defense.

Pauole announced his offer from the Black Knight staff by tweeting the news out in Hawaiian.

One other school has offered Pauole, a school the Black Knights know well: Navy.   The Midshipmen staff beat Army to the punch extending an offer to Pauole on May 5. Air Force was the first service academy to offer, on May 3.  Division II Adam's State, located in Colorado, has also offered.  It's still early for the Class of 2017 so look for Pauole to receive many more offers as he progresses into his senior campaign.
