Navy struck first when Eric Roberts scored on a 1-yard run to put Navy up 7-0.

A failed Navy fake punt gave Army the ball at the 50 yard line and put Carlton Jones in great position to score on a 1-yard option play to bring Army back into the game. The PAT attempt failed, Navy 7 Army 6.

A 38-yard field goal by Eric Rolfs gave Navy a 10-6 lead. Right before the end of the half Rolfs, hit another 41 yarder to make the score 13-6.

Navy took the ball at the beginning of the second half and marched 80 yards leading to a 2 yard Eric Roberts touchdown run, 20-6 Navy.

The rest of the game was all Kyle Eckel as he ran a 16-yard touchdown run followed by another, which brought Navy well out of Army's reach, Navy 34 Army 6.
