2004 Crop: The Linebackers

New Army head coach Bobby Ross wasted no time assembling a group of speedy, talented linebackers. ArmySports.com takes a look at several outstanding linebackers who are believed to have committed to West Point.

The U.S. Military Academy does not release official lists of signees.

Marcus Millen, LB, 6-1, 215, Easton, PA (Easton Area)- Ended his senior year with 129 tackles and seven sacks. Selected for the Express-Times All-Area first team and the Associated Press All-State squad. Millen also excelled in wrestling.

Bo Olsen, LB, 6-2, 231, Little Silver, NJ (Red Bank Regional)- 103 tackles in 10 games, 6 sacks, 6 forced fumbles and 14 tackles for losses. 4.65 forty time. Olsen was also named All-County, All-Division and Jersey Star Ledger Player of the Month for November.

Charlie Rockwood, LB, 6-2, 200, Fredericksburg, TX (Fredericksburg)- Selected Texas 4A Honorable Mention and All-District First Team. Also played tight end.

Eric Creighton, LB, 6-1, 202, Snellville, GA (Brookwood)- Creighton chose Army over Navy. Had 49 tackles and three sacks as a senior. Also played tight end.

Luke Mazgaj, LB, 6-0, 205, Stockton, CA (St. Mary's)- Mazgaj led his team in tackles with 82. Also had three fumble recoveries and one sack.

Jordan Murray, LB/FB, 6-1, 202, Maysville, KY (Mason County) Speedy linebacker who was clocked with a 4.55 40 time. Benches 265 pounds. Also played fullback. Impressed scouts at Frank Minnifield's combine in Lexington, KY.

Luke Hallsten, LB, 6-1, 210, Orlando, FL (University)- Talented prospect from the football player factory state of Florida.
