Army gets new linebacker coach

Robert Lyles has been named Army's linebackers coach by Stan Brock. The move is expected to be announced when Brock fills out his staff. Lyles, 45, spent eight years in the NFL with the Houston Oilers and Atlanta Falcons (1984-91). He coached with Brock in the Arena Football League with the Los Angeles Avengers.

Lyles, who replaces Bruce Hardin, takes over a unit that returns one starter: Charlie Rockwood.

Brock is interviewing candidates for the offensive line coach job.
