After Army went on a six point run that cut the lead to two at the 9:00 mark, Jeanpierre took over and scored 12 points in a 16-3 Navy run that knocked the Cadets out. Bill Mohr led the Black Knights with 11.
For Army, its problems start and end on the offensive end. To say they struggle to put the ball in the basket is an understatement. On some possessions, it appears Army doesn't even look to score. Army has to have some player step up and be a consistent scoring threat to try and get the team going offensively. Coach Crews continues to try to find that spark by starting yet another different starting lineup. The Navy game was a replay of other Army losses where Army hangs close for about 30 minutes and the other team steps on the accelerator and finishes the game off.
Army next plays American on February 2 at 3:15 as they try to break into the win column in league play.
