Zac Maodus Interview

Fort Lauderdale (St. Thomas Aquinas HS) offensive lineman Zac Maodus talked with ArmySports.com on the factors that lead him to pick Army.

ArmySports.com:  What was the most significant factor that led you to pick Army?
Zac Maodus:  The quality of education and the success that many graduates had post college.

ArmySports.com:  What is your actual size?
Zac Maodus:  6'4",  288 lbs.

ArmySports.com:  What do you think of speed, strength & conditioning facilities?
Zac Maodus:  Huge, I was in awe…look like a country club, it was big.

ArmySports.com:  How many "Pancakes" did you register last year?
Zac Maodus:  We did keep track of that stat.

ArmySports.com:  What is your primary position on the offensive line?
Zac Maodus:  Offensive Tackle, but also played center. However, I might play inside (Guard or Center at Army).

ArmySports.com:  Your teammate in high school is LB, Taveras Gooden who is Miami Canes bound. How good was your team this season?
Zac Maodus:  We went 11-2.

ArmySports.com:  What's your 40 times like?
Zac Maodus:  (Zac starts laughing) Nothing marketable, but about 5.3.
