This match-up pits the No. 44 passing offense of North Texas against the No. 3 pass defense of Army. The fact that UNT also has a formidable rushing offense should make them even harder to defend against the pass. Quarterback Riley Dodge, heavily recruited as a prep star, has over 1,700 yards passing for 8 touchdowns but has thrown 11 picks. Safety Donovan Travis has four interceptions for Army.

Army ended a three-game losing streak with their close win over VMI. If the Black Knights can win out they will be in a bowl game. North Texas is hungry for success and it appears Dodge has them the right track. Although they are 2-8, the Mean Green has suffered four losses by 7 points or less so their record could be deceiving.

PREDICTION: Army 27, North Texas 24
