ArmySports.com: How long did you know you wanted to play at Army before you announced?
Barrett Scruggs: I wasn't 100% about Army. However, when I did my official visit, met the coaches and players I knew this is where I wanted to play and attend school.
ArmySports.com: What is your 40 time like?
Barrett: My forty time is 4.6.
ArmySports.com: What are you going to do between now and when your college career starts to prepare yourself for college football?
Barrett: I am currently playing basketball, and will run track in the spring. I will also be lifting.
ArmySports.com: How would you describe yourself as a football player?
Barrett: Intense (then Barrett laughs)
ArmySports.com: Your high school coach (Darlee Nelson) said that you have the ability to play linebacker or strong safety. What position are you being recruited at?
ArmySports.com: What linebacker in the NFL or College that you pattern yourself after?
Barrett: Without question, Derrick Brooks of the Tampa Bay Bucs.
ArmySports.com: Have you followed the recruiting of other players to Army?
Barrett: Not a lot. Although I heard that WR Corey Anderson (also from the Tampa area) committed to Army.
