Caleb Campbell, Safety, Perryton HS (Perryton, TX)
Caleb shared with us his thoughts about being part of the Black Knights of Army.
ArmySports.com: How was your official visit and did you commit to Army?
Caleb Campbell: It went great, I love the coaches, campus and the facilities are great. The facilities are some of the best in the country. I would be a fool not to go to Army.
ArmySports.com: Why did you wait after the LOI Day to make your official visit to Army?
Caleb: They had so many recruits during the recruiting season that they had some of players come in earlier and others later (after LOI). The date (2/14) worked out best for me and my schedule.
ArmySports.com: Who was your host during your official visit & what did you do?
Caleb: Rob Davis (DB)…and we ate, went to an Army hockey game and hung out with some of the other guys. It was a good time.
ArmySports.com: You have played a variety of positions in high school, ranging from WR, Safety, and QB. What position are you being recruited at?
ArmySports.com: Have you followed the recruiting of other players to Army?
Caleb: Yes I have, out of 10 recruits who were on my official visit, 9 of us will be going to prep and we bounded real well.
ArmySports.com: What are your current height, weight and 40 speed?
Caleb: 6'2" 207" and run a 4.5 40.
ArmySports.com: Congratulations on your decision to attend West Point and join the Black Knights.
Caleb: Thank you and I appreciate you taking the time to reach out to me.
