Interview: Caleb Campbell

We caught up with Caleb upon his return from his official visit (2/14) to West Point. Caleb is a versatile player, who has outstanding size and speed and is projected to play safety at Army. Caleb will be attending the USMAPS, which may have its best group of recruits attending the prep school at one time.

Caleb Campbell, Safety, Perryton HS (Perryton, TX)

Caleb shared with us his thoughts about being part of the Black Knights of Army.  How was your official visit and did you commit to Army?
Caleb Campbell:  It went great, I love the coaches, campus and the facilities are great.  The facilities are some of the best in the country.  I would be a fool not to go to Army. Why did you wait after the LOI Day to make your official visit to Army?
Caleb: They had so many recruits during the recruiting season that they had some of players come in earlier and others later (after LOI). The date (2/14) worked out best for me and my schedule.  Who was your host during your official visit & what did you do?
Caleb: Rob Davis (DB)…and we ate, went to an Army hockey game and hung out with some of the other guys. It was a good time. You have played a variety of positions in high school, ranging from WR, Safety, and QB.  What position are you being recruited at?
Caleb: Safety.  Have you followed the recruiting of other players to Army?
Caleb: Yes I have, out of 10 recruits who were on my official visit, 9 of us will be going to prep and we bounded real well. What are your current height, weight and 40 speed?
Caleb: 6'2" 207" and run a 4.5  40. Congratulations on your decision to attend West Point and join the Black Knights.
Caleb: Thank you and I appreciate you taking the time to reach out to me. Top Stories
