Interview: Patrick Moore

We caught up with Patrick after his commitment to play for the Black Knights of Army. Patrick will attend the USMAPS initially, along with teammate Andrew Mack. Both Moore and Mack are very good athletes who will benefit from their year at the prep school.

ArmySports.com:  What was the most significant factor that led you to pick Army?
Patrick Moore:  When the WR Coach came to visit me.  It made me feel good that the position coach wanted to see me himself and not only Coach Berry.

ArmySports.com:  Who recruited you?
Patrick: 
Coach Jackson recruited me.

ArmySports.com:  When did you take your official visit?
Patrick:  February 14th.

ArmySports.com:  You have committed to play at Army along with your friend and teammate, Andrew Mack.  How does it feel to know that you guys will be playing together for the next 4 to 5 years?
Patrick:  It's awesome. It feels good that I'm playing with someone I have known all my life. 

ArmySports.com:  So, you guys go way back with each other?
Patrick:  Yes, we go back to taxi squad and go back to age 6.

ArmySports.com:  Who was your host during your official visit and what did you do?
Patrick:  Dhyan Tarver (CB) was my host and he took me around the campus and town.  We had a nice time. 

ArmySports.com:  What position are you being recruiting for?
Patrick:  Wide Receiver

ArmySports.com:  What wide receiver in the NFL or College do you pattern yourself after?
Patrick:  Terrell Owens of the 49'ers.

ArmySports.com:  What are you actual size and speed in the 40?
Patrick:  I'm 6'2" 193 and run a 4.5 40. 
 
ArmySports.com:  What are your thoughts about competing in Conference USA?
Patrick:  I'm really looking forward to competing at that level.
