Last week, the news of Xavier assistant Rasheen Davis leaving for Manhattan surfaced.
At the same time on Scout.com's MusketeerReport message boards, news of Kareem Richardson's exit from the program was being crafted.
Richardson will be announced as Richard Pitino's replacement as assistant coach at Louisville this afternoon, according to a source.
Pitino, the son of legendary Cardinals coach Rick Pitino, left for a head job at Florida International.
Richardson, who was in St. Louis for the early part of the weekend and Virginia for the latter part, was a finalist for the Eastern Illinois head coaching spot just a matter of weeks ago.
He has made other stops at Indiana State, Evansville, UMKC, among others in his career.
