Marvin Binney Signs With Duquesne

The Duquesne Dukes and Jim Ferry dipped into Canada to pick up their newest signee -- Marvin Binney.

Marvin Binney, a guard from Toronto, Canada has signed with Duquesne.

Binney spent his freshman year at New Mexico Junior College and led the team in assists and played the second-most minutes.

At six-foot-two, Binney should help solidify the Dukes' backcourt.

He will have to sit out next season, but will have three years of eligibility remaining.

Jim Ferry and company have one more scholarship to fill for the 2012 class if they end up using it.

It's been a rather difficult offseason for the A-10 middleweight. After firing head coach Ron Everhart, who has since landed at West Virginia as an assistant, star T.J. McConnell, along with Mike Talley and Danny Herrera.

Additionally, 2012 signees Donovon Jack and Willie Moore both got out of their Letter of Intents and have signed with BCS schools, Penn State and Oregon, respectively.

Ferry has had to start from Square One.
