Laguerre Leaving UMass

According to the Daily Hampshire Gazette, Jordan Laguerre is leaving the UMass program.

UMass guard Jordan Laguerre has left the school, according to a report from Matt Vautour of the Daily Hampshire Gazette.

Laguerre, a talented six-foot-two guard from Manchester, N.H., is making a departure before he ever stepped on court in uniform for the Minutemen.

He ran with the Mass Rivals on the AAU circuit and was thought to get plenty of minutes off the bench for UMass this upcoming season.

With the addition of Derrick Gordon, a Western Kentucky transfer, Laguerre's minutes would have likely taken a bit of hit the following year.

Chaz Williams and Jesse Morgan will bolster a quality backcourt next year for one of the A-10's up-and-coming teams.
