Wilson Picks Up A-10 Offers & Interest

INDIANAPOLIS, In. -- 2013 PG Devin Wilson has a lot of Atlantic 10 interest coming his way. Who has offered and who is showing a lot of love? Find out inside!

INDIANAPOLIS, In. -- The A10Report.com's first viewing at the Adidas Invitational this past week came of 2013 point guard Devin Wilson. At six-foot-four, Wilson has tremendous size for his position and plays with supreme fluidity.

His Team Adidas Pittsburgh squad couldn't seem to gain much traction, but he thought he showed quite well throughout the first live period.

"I thought I played pretty good as a whole," Wilson said. "I thought I did what I needed to do coming to this tournament individual-wise. I had a couple 20-point games."

First and foremost on Wilson's radar will be finding a college with talented academics. Several Atlantic 10 schools as well as Ivy league schools were in attendance to see him play.

"I have offers from Akron, James Madison, and Duquesne," Wilson said. "After the [Adidas Invitational], I picked up Hofstra and St. Bonaventure as well. Other schools recruiting me are Nevada, Wisconsin, and a bunch of A-10 schools."

He's a dual-sport athlete, though, and has yet to decide whether he will pursue basketball or football at the Division I level.

In the meantime, what does he bring to the table?

His ball handling and vision are certainly his strengths at this point. Also, being a big guard, he's able to get into the lane with ease and find open teammates. Perhaps his biggest area of improvement will be his outside shot. If that comes together, he'll be a tough one to defend at the next level.

Don't expect a decision any time soon, either. Wilson said he hasn't even thought about a timetable and will likely be taking his time well into the spring.

Although location won't be a factor, his studies certainly will be. Wilson would like to be "prepared for life after basketball", and a place that he can feel good for all four years.
