Here are Pat's Picks for week three of the college football season:
Arkansas at Georgia--Based on what I have seen, and we don't really know about Arkansas yet, I am picking the Razorbacks even though they are playing in Athens. Georgia has got something to prove to me now after the way the Bulldogs played last week.
Jeremiah Masoli looks to pass vs. Tulane last week for the Ole Miss Rebels.
Florida at Tennessee--I think Florida kind of found itself in the second half last week against South Florida. I am not sure if Tennessee found itself in the third and fourth quarters last week against Oregon. If they did it wasn't good. I do know that Florida has more players and should win this game.
Alabama at Duke--It's a stroll in the park for Alabama.
Mississippi State at LSU--This will be an interesting football game. I look for Mississippi State to come back and play good against LSU and win this week. We will find out more about both teams this Saturday in what I think this is going to be a good one.
Clemson at Auburn--I think this game is going to be close and hard-fought with a lot of emotion on Saturday night. The schools are a lot alike so it should be an interesting matchup. I think Auburn wins this one at home.
Outside the SEC:
Georgia Tech at North Carolina--Although North Carolina has had problems I still like the Tar Heels in this one.
Nebraska at Washington--The Cornhuskers are strong this year. Nebraska will win.
Troy at UAB--I think Troy will win.
Notre Dame at Michigan State--It should be close. I will go with Notre Dame even though they are playing at Michigan State.
Wake Forest at Stanford--Stanford should win again this week.
Miami at Pitt--This should be a good game. I am going with Miami to win on the road.
