South Carolina's three wins over Vanderbilt this weekend gave them 20 straight wins over the Commodores dating back to 1997. LSU hit four home runs to complete the series win over Alabama despite a ninth inning rally by the Crimson Tide that saw them load the bases with one out in the ninth inning down 11-10. A strikeout and pop up to the catcher put an end to the game and gave LSU the series win.

Mississippi State swept Ole Miss despite record crowds at Ole Miss for the weekend series. State flexed its muscles by allowing just four runs in the series and two shutouts. Arkansas continued their road ways with a sweep of Kentucky in Lexington. The Razorbacks won two one-run games and host Georgia this weekend with a chance to move up the conference standings.
