Fairley will make his plans known on Friday at a press conference at Williamson High School, where he was an all-star performer in football and basketball.
The defensive tackle finished his redshirt junior season at Auburn by winning the BCS National Championship Game Defensive Most Valuable Player Award as the Tigers defeated Oregon 22-19 to win the national championship.
Fairley, a consensus All-American for Coach Gene Chizik's 14-0 football Tigers, won the Lombardi Award as the nation's top lineman.
He played two seasons for the Tigers after transferring to Auburn from junior college where he played one season and redshirted a season.

In the championship game on Monday night, Fairley made three tackles for loss with a quarterback sack. His 24 tackles for losses are an Auburn single season record as are his 11 1/2 sacks.
Fairley is expected to be an early first round selection in the 2011 NFL Draft.
