Decision Time Near for Big Lineman

All-American offensive lineman Antonio Richardson is considering five colleges, including Auburn.

Nashville, Tenn.--One of the Southeast's top-rated offensive linemen, Antonio Richardson, took an official visit to Auburn over the weekend and should be ready to name his college choice this week.

Lanny Richardson, the father of the senior from Pearl-Cohn High School, said on Sunday night that he and his son will sit down this week and come to a decision on his college choice.

"In addition to Auburn he likes Alabama, Georgia, Oklahoma and Miami," Mr. Richardson said of big Antonio, who is rated as a four star prospect by Scout.com.

The father didn't take the official visit to Auburn with his son, but had a chance to talk to the 6-4, 310 U.S. Army All-American during and after the trip. "He had a good time on his visit over the weekend," Mr. Richardson said. "He said it was very nice."

The prospect's father said he isn't sure what college is the leader now, but added that he thought the big lineman would be ready to make his choice on Wednesday, which is national signing day. Richardson began his senior season at Ensworth High, but transferred to Pearl-Cohn where he is scheduled to graduate this spring.
