Swain Signs With the Tigers

In-state all-star prospect Anthony Swain has signed his scholarship papers to play for the Auburn Tigers.

Position/Scout Ranking: Anthony Swain, 6-2, 205, Gadsden City High, three stars, ranked as the No. 36 safety in the nation.

Auburn's Main Competition: The early Auburn commitment picked the Tigers over Alabama, Clemson, Kentucky and others.

Why Auburn Signed Him: He has the speed and athleticism to contribute at safety and has a large enough frame to add weight and grow into an outside linebacker as a collegian.

Worth Noting: He helped his team win the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Game in December by contributing at strong safety, free safety and on kickoff returns. He also participated in the NUC All-Star Game in January.
