Niles Headed Up River To Auburn

Four-star Jabrian Niles has signed to play for the Auburn Tigers.

Position/Scout Ranking: Jabrian Niles, 6-2 1/2, 262, Davidson High, Mobile, Ala., four stars, ranked as the No. 27 defensive end in the country.

Auburn's Main Competition: The standout from Davidson High School chose Auburn over Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Ole Miss, Texas Tech and several others.

Why Auburn Signed Him: Getting a big athlete that can play inside or outside on the defensive line is always a winning combination for a college football coach. At nearly 270 pounds he could play immediately if he can get to around 280 before next fall.

Worth Noting: Niles was selected as a member of the Alabama all-star squad in the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Classic following a strong senior season.
