5-Star All-American QB Headed to Auburn

Scout.com five-star quarterback Kiehl Frazier is one of the jewels of Auburn's 2011 football signee class.

Position/Scout Ranking: Kiehl Frazier, 6-3, 215, Shiloh Christian School, five stars, ranked as the No. 4 quarterback prospect in the nation.

Auburn's Main Competition: The home-state Arkansas Razorbacks and Notre Dame were next on his list that included numerous scholarship offers.

Why Auburn Signed Him: With the Tigers losing All-American Cameron Newton to the pros and backup Neil Caudle graduating the team needs another quarterback and there is a lot to like about Frazier, who led Shiloh Christian to a state championship this past season. With his excellent size, passing accuracy, running ability and QB skills, Frazier was at the top of Auburn offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn's wish list for the 2011 signee class.

Worth Noting: The Under Armour All-American set numerous records and won a variety of awards as a multi-year star at Shiloh Christian.
