Versatile Offensive Prospect Signs With AU

One of the top prospects in the state of Georgia has signed to play football for the Auburn Tigers.

Position/Scout Ranking: C.J. Uzomah, 6-5, 235, North Gwinnett High, Suwanee, Ga., four stars, ranked as the No. 8 tight end prospect in country.

Auburn's Main Competition: Uzomah chose Auburn over LSU and many others.

Why Auburn Signed Him: Uzomah did a little bit of everything for North Gwinnett his senior year, splitting time between quarterback, receiver and tight end. He seems to be a perfect fit for Gus Malzahn's system in the H-back position that utilizes versatile players with multiple skillsets.

Worth Noting: A big, bright and physical athlete, Uzomah is a player who could see action at Auburn as a wildcat quarterback.
