Defensive End Prospect In Evaluation Stage

A recruiting report on defensive end prospect Ryan Anderson is featured.

Daphne, Ala.--Ryan Anderson returned to Auburn for another junior day visit and the defensive end from Daphne High School says he is still in the looking stage of the recruiting process.

"I don't have a list yet," he said when asked if he has a group of favorite colleges. "I am open."

However, he said that when he does make his list he will be considering "places like Auburn."

Anderson said he used the visit as an opportunity to watch the Tigers practice and check out new defensive line coach Mike Pelton.

"After watching practice I went to meet Coach Pelton," the class of 2012 prospect said. "It was good meeting him. He is a good coach. I like the stuff that he does--everything was good."

Asked if he had a good time on his visit to Auburn, he said, "Yeah, like always."

Watching Auburn practice in full pads the high school junior said he wanted to check out Nosa Egaue, who started for the Tigers the last half of the 2010 season as a redshirt freshman. "I watched him play in the championship game and I wanted to watch him play."
