South Alabama, which is 27-24, will start junior right-hander Jarrett Bailey, who does not have a decision this season. His ERA is 15.63.

On April 19th at Plainsman Park the Tigers dropped a 7-1 decision to South Alabama.

After the trip to Mobile the 28-24 Tigers, who are tied with Arkansas, Mississippi State and Alabama for first place in the SEC West with a 13-14 record, will travel to Tennessee for single games Thursday, Friday and Saturday to close the regular season.

Auburn also won two of three vs. Ole Miss, which is just a game out of first place at 12-15. LSU is last at 11-16.

If Auburn ends the regular season in a tie for first place in the division with Arkansas or Alabama, the Tigers will be the second seed for the SEC Tournament in Hoover based on winning two of three games vs. those teams. If the Tigers tie Mississippi State, the Bulldogs will be the second seed based on their sweep of the Tigers.

The SEC Baseball Tournament will run May 25-29 at the Hoover Met.
