Top-Rated Defensive Back Visiting Auburn

A report on visitors to Auburn's July football prospects camp is featured.

Auburn, Ala.--Prospects from across the southeast and other regions are among the players expected to attend Auburn's final football camp of the summer.

Included the group of expected visitors is Ronald Darby from Potomac High in Oxon Hill, Maryland. He is rated as the No. 1 cornerback prospect for the 2012 signee class by

Darby, who is 5-11, 175, has outstanding speed which he uses as one of the top high school track and field athletes in the country. Although he committed to Notre Dame in April, he is still visiting other colleges. He recently checked out the North Carolina Tar Heels.

Nicknamed "Nitro" for his explosive play on a football field, he is also a standout on offense as a runner and is a star return man on special teams.

Some of the other prospects expected to be in Auburn this weekend include:

*Korren Kirven, a 2012 four-star defensive lineman from Brookville High in Lynchburg, is one of the top prospects in Virginia.

*Robert Nkemdiche, a highly regarded rising junior defensive end from Grayson High in Loganville, Ga., picked up an early scholarship offer from the Tigers.

Robert Nkemdiche is expected to stand out this season in a strong class of 2013 group of prospects in the state of Georgia.

*Four-star wide receiver Chris Black from First Coast High in Jacksonville, Fla. is expected to visit for camp this weekend. He is rated as the nation's number eight receiver. He'll be joined by several teammates including West Virginia commitment Joe Jackson, a linebacker.

*A player to watch for next year's class is offensive lineman Derwin Grey from Dunbar High in Washington, D.C. He is expected to get serious attention next fall. He will be at the camp on Saturday and arrived in Auburn on Friday.

*A 6-3, 300-pounder, Carl Pierre-Louis from Valera High in Miami, is expected to be in Auburn this weekend. The offensive lineman is still learning the game, but is considered a prospect with plenty of potential.

*Jordan Armstrong, a three-star wide receiver from Valera High in Miami Beach, Fla., is expected to join Pierre-Louis at the camp.

*Tavon Rooks, from Navarro Junior College in Texas, is expected to be at the camp. He is an offensive lineman who will be a sophomore this year after playing at a California junior college last year. He has an offer from the Tigers.

*Javiie Mitchell, a 2012 linebacker from Leeds High, is making a return visit to Auburn for the camp. He was one of the most impressive juniors in the state in 2010.

*Richie Brown, a three-star linebacker from Long Beach, Miss., High, is scheduled to camp at AU.

*Kenny Bigelow, a class of 2013 defensive end prospect from Red Lion Christian Academy in Delaware, is camping at Auburn. His teammate, Angelo Blackson, signed with Auburn in February and has already reported for classes at Auburn.

*Jordan Huff, a class of 2013 running back from St. Paul's in Mobile, plans to make a return trip to Auburn this weekend. He is expected to be one of the top prospects in south Alabama this year.

*A.J. Turman, a running back, and his teammate at Boone High in Orlando, quarterback Alton Meeks, are expected to camp at Auburn. Both are rising juniors.

*Tim Bellinger, who racked up 231 yards rushing in a game as a freshman last year, is expected to camp at Auburn. He is Miami Beach High.
