Alabama HS: Top juniors
Nate Andrews (Fairhope, wide receiver): Andrews has been a standout for two years at the Hoover National Select 7-on-7 tournament. He has speed, is physical and will climb the ladder to get the ball. He should have a great season for the Pirates.
Noah Armstrong (Lawrence County, TE/OL): Armstrong is ready to become a household name. The 6-foot-7, 275-pound prospect attended the South Showcase combine last spring and put on an impressive performance. His size and athleticism will garner a lot of attention.
Bradley Bozeman (Handley, OL): Bozeman is a physical beast and an aggressive run blocker. He will rank as one of the top offensive linemen in the country. He has already given a verbal pledge to the University of Alabama.
Jonathan Cook (Spanish Fort, CB): Cook started for the Class 5A state champs a year ago. He has excellent size and is physical. He is one of the leaders of the Toros' defense.
James Cox (Northridge, WR): Cox is an outstanding receiver who will have plenty of SEC offers to choose from next spring. Mississippi State offered this summer.
Rod Crayton (Dadeville, DT): Crayton is one of the strongest players in the state. He is physical and aggressive coming off the ball. He plays with a low center of gravity. Ole Miss has offered.
Austin Golson (Prattville, OL): Golson is an elite offensive tackle prospect who should make the National 100. He is already committed to Florida State.
Matthew Gray (Prattville, OL): Gray transferred from Prattville after his freshman year, but has returned to the No. 1 ranked team in the country. He is one of the top offensive line prospects in the state.
Erik Holliday (Jackson-Olin, CB): Holliday was a standout at the South Showcase combine last spring. He has good size, hips and speed. He should attract a lot of attention.
O.J. Howard (Autagua Academy, ATH): Howard is arguably the top athlete in the 2013 class. He can play on either side of the ball (6-5, 225). He was a standout at the Alabama and Auburn summer camps. Howard has committed to Alabama.
Jordan Huff (St. Paul's, RB): Huff has good size (5-11, 195-pounds) and speed. He rushed for more than 1,700 yards as a sophomore.
Jeremy Johnson (Carver-Montgomery, QB): Johnson enters his second year as the starting quarterback for Carver. Two-sport athlete who could play major college basketball. He has a football offer from Auburn.
Dee Liner (Muscle Shoals, DL): Liner will rank as one of the top defensive linemen in the South. He has already committed to Auburn.
Jamie Major (Piedmont, LB): Major has been a top performer for Piedmont since his freshman year. He is definitely a player who should earn plenty of offers.
Josh Matthews (Decatur, RB): Matthews is short, stocky back who runs with a lot of power and is physical.
Earnest Robinson (Pinson Valley, WR): Robinson has a chance to rank as the top receiver in 2013. He has offers from the SEC schools. He has excellent size, hands and speed.
Cameron Toney (Huntsville, LB): Toney is attracting a lot of interest and should earn a lot of offers. The 6-foot-3, 225-pound linebacker is projected to have a great season.
A few notables who jumped on the recruiting map during last season: Beniquez Brown (Florence), Tyler Hayes (Thomasville), Darius Philon (Vigor), Ryan Anderson (Daphne).
