Jordan Huff talked T-town trip

Jordan Huff, running back from Mobile-St. Paul's, Ala., rushed for more than 1,700 yards during his sophomore year. He is having another great season, and put together a big game last week against Fairhope. Huff is receiving a lot of interest and attended his first game of the year in Tuscaloosa.

"We enjoyed the visit," said Jordan Huff. "I enjoyed the atmosphere. The crowd was going crazy. Alabama played very well. They meshed well as a team. Everyone worked together.

"Trent [Richardson] and Eddie Lacy impressed me. Dre Kirkpatrick impressed me a lot. He stepped up big time. A.J. [McCarron] did well.

"I talked to my recruiting coach, Jeremy Pruitt, and coach Cochran. They were saying they look forward to me coming back. They want me to become familiar with the Alabama program."

Huff talked more of the unofficial visit.

"I really enjoyed being up there this weekend," he said. "It's a very well put together school. They have great athletics and academics. They have a beautiful campus."

St. Paul's lost their first game of the season last week to 6A Fairhope. Huff rushed for 220 yards and four touchdowns including three touchdowns in the third quarter. St. Paul's has a big region game this week at home against Vigor led by standout defensive ends Darius Philon (Alabama commitment) and Jamichael Winston.

Huff hopes to visit Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, LSU and Vanderbilt this season.
